Columns and Pyramids

These recent wood and resin works consist of a series of columns and pyramids. The columns are comprised of different panels of drawings and/or abstract color “paintings.”  Several of them are lit from inside.  The pyramids range in size from desktop to large ones that are best viewed on the floor. The classic shape of a pyramid is a reminder of humankind's need to create.

Drawing and Resin

These new works are drawings encapsulated in epoxy resin.  They are about my interest in relationships between the "stars" of art history, e.g. skulls, skeletons, and the knots that bind them together.  It is similar to amber embedding bits of history.
